What is Stack Cleaning?
Stack cleaning is a mechanical process by which the grease and sediments build up is removed to allow free flowing of grey (waste) water. Stack Cleaning is part of good building maintenance and should be planned every two (2) years or as needed.
The process includes the use of a snake or chain knocker that is inserted in the lane. This will physically break down and remove the build up in the lines. Once the mechanical cleaning is completed the plumbers will use a high pressure washer to remove any remaining debris and wash the lines to main drain to the city collection lines. Following the cleaning of each stack, a camera system is used to ensure the drain is 100% free of grease build up and any debris from the existing cleanouts.
We appreciate your understanding and support in this matter, and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
