Dear Owners;
As our community changes, there is an increasing number of residents that depend on their pets, including dogs for companionship and to enhance their physical and mental well being.
Today, our declaration restricts the ownership of pets to all other animals and "Service Dogs". In many settings, dogs have been used as therapy animals with agencies like St. John Ambulance, Autism Associations, and many other community organizations. Many of these pets, when owned by individuals, may not qualify as a "Service Animal", but their impact on the quality of life is undeniable.
The Board Directors feel that the time has come for Turnberry Court to amend the declaration and permit dogs in our community. This will not only enhance the residents' experience, but also increase the value of your investment.
To amend the declaration, the Corporation needs the support of 80% of owners. This is a great opportunity to make our community inclusive and welcoming to the residents. Without you, we can not do this!
To gauge your interest, we kindly ask you to complete the following survey by no later than May 14, 2022. At which point, we can decide whether to include this matter in the upcoming AGM package.
As always we appreciate your support and contribution.
Kind regards,
Diego Garcia
