Please find below a summary of your Annual General Meeting held on July 14, 2022.
Attendance and Participation
We saw an increase in participation form the owners this year. For this meeting the number of units voted was increased to 85! A significant increase in participation, a sign of an active and healthy community, fostered by open communication.
Auditor's Report
Auditor's report was presented to owners and we continue to remain committed to fiscal responsibility and being good stewards of your money, while making sure the community and building is maintained and kept in good order.
Election Results
There were three open positions in this election. We wish to congratulate Mr. Javier Solis, Ms. Valerie Li, and Ms. Alison Hartshorn and express our sincere appreciation to Mr. Oláguer Chacón Maldonado for volunteering to serve on the Board of Directors.
Feedback and Concerns
The following items were noted from the AGM and will be discussed in the upcoming Board meetings.
Dogs in the building. Ensuring "Service Dogs" are in compliance with the corporation's rules.
Smoking in the suites. Although smoking in the suites are permitted, the smoke shall not enter the common areas.
Virtual meetings. Under current regulations, virtual meetings are permitted. In addition, it was noted that the party room is currently under renovation and could not be used for this AGM.
Make Up Air Unit. It was noted that MAU is not working on certain floors. At the present time, the MAU is turned off due to on-going construction. We anticipate to have it turned back ON as soon as carpets are laid on the floors.
