Dear Owners and Residents:
Please find below updates regarding recent events and operations of our building.
1) Fire Alarm
On July 25, 2022 at approx. 02:45 a.m. we experienced a building wide fire alarm. Toronto Fire responded to this alarm and concluded that this was a false alarm. Our fire services contractor investigated this event on the same day. Preliminary investigation indicated that a spare board on the fire panel had malfunctioned and triggered the fire alarm. Necessary arrangements have been made to address this issue.
2) Delay in response from management
Due to technical difficulties experienced in the past week, I have a backlog of emails to respond to, and am working diligently to respond to all inquiries. I sincerely apologize about this delay.
3) Door Operators
There are two door operators on parking levels that have failed. We are working on obtaining the necessary quotes and complete the necessary repairs.
4) Makeup Air Unit
Makeup Air Unit was turned off during the refurbishment in the hallways. We anticipate to have MAU turned back on sometimes next week as work on the floors is completed.
5) Refurbishment Project
Like others, we are impacted by ongoing supply and labour shortages that effecting all aspects of life. The Corporation and Folio are actively engaged in ensuring that we progress toward finishing the project as soon as possible. We were informed that carpets have been delivered and now being prepared for installation in upcoming days. Work in the party-room is progressing well and we look forward to celebrate the completion of the refurbishment projects together.
