Dear Owners and Residents,
We are happy to inform you that our Whirlpool, located on P1 Recreation Center will be open for your enjoyment starting tomorrow, Friday, September 16, 2022.
Please familiarize yourself with the respective rules, report any issues to the management office and be courteous to your other users.
Use of the Emergency Telephone in the Whirlpool and Swimming Pool area is prohibited, except to call for emergency assistance. When making an emergency call, dial 911, give the location (5795 Yonge Street) and describe the nature of the emergency. Have someone notify the Concierge of the emergency.
Use is prohibited immediately after a meal or exercise when under the influence of alcohol or drugs or without prior medical consultation when elderly, pregnant, or suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure, a communicable disease, a rash or open sores.
The corridor from the Change Room to the Whirlpool is common for men and women. When returning from the whirlpool, be sure to enter the appropriate Change Room.
A cleansing shower shall be taken before use or upon re-entering after using the Whirlpool, Exercise Room or Swimming Pool.
Sun tan oils must be washed off before entering the whirlpool or exercise room.
Wear sandals or similar footwear while travelling from the showers, sauna and whirlpool and be cautious when walking on wet flooring.
Proper swimwear shall be worn from the Change Room to and in the Whirlpool. Cut off shorts and tank tops are not proper swimwear.
Enter and exit the Whirlpool slowly and cautiously.
The Whirlpool shall be used in compliance with City codes.
The Whirlpool is operated as an unsupervised pool. Accordingly, bathers shall take adequate precautions.
Bathers shall not use the Whirlpool alone.
Bathers under twelve (12) years of age are not permitted in the Whirlpool unless accompanied by a Resident adult who is not less than sixteen years of age.
Infants and toddlers should not use the whirlpool, whether accompanied or not.
The total number of bathers in the Whirlpool shall not exceed four (4).
Use shall not exceed ten (10) minutes and shall be followed by a cool down shower.
A bather should not swim alone, although not prohibited.
These rules are set for your own protection and we look forward to your attention and compliance with the rules of the Corporation.
