We are pleased to inform you that Folio Interiors will begin delivering and installing carpets next week.

Schedule

Tuesday, October 18, 2022 (for approx. 2 weeks)

Time

Form 09:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Floors

Starting from 12th floor, approx 2 floors per day

During the installation of the carpet, there will be limited access for a period of time as outlined below,  please read and plan accordingly.

 a) Installer will vacuum floor and unroll and lay down carpet for floor based upon length and cut recessed area of doors and turns to fit in .

b) Once carpet is cut precisely to match with layout,  installers will turn and roll over half of carpet on the other half carpet and pour glue on the surface and skimming the floor with glue to prep the surface .

c) Once the floor is skimmed with glue,  for about 1.30 - 2 hours residents of the side of the floor with glue will not be able to access the floor.

Also note that the glue may emit some smell or fumes and we strongly recommend that you ensure you have adequate air circulation in your suite.  

Baseboard Installation

Monday, October 17

Baseboards will be delivered from the loading areas to floors through stairwells on each floor.  Baseboards will be staged on each floor along the wall in front of the elevator. 

Thursday, October 20 

Baseboard Installation will start.  Once carpet installers install carpet on the top few floors, baseboard installation will begin from the 12th floor.   It is projected that the baseboard will take one floor per day . Installers should be able to ramp up 1/12 - 2 floors depending on length of corridor and complexity of angles and cuts. 

Please exercise due caution around the workers and material that may be laid down on the floors during this phase of the project.
