Dear Owners and Residents,
Starting today, we will be accepting non-perishable food donations in support of the Daily Bread Food Bank. Donation boxes are set up in the lobby and we are pleased to provide you with paper shopping bags to use for your donations.
The report reveals that there were 1.45 million visits to Toronto food banks last year, the highest number of visits ever recorded in Toronto. This represents a 47% increase compared to the previous year and is 1.5 times higher than the previous record set in 2010 at the peak of the 2008 recession. Today, food banks are facing even larger calls for help.
What are your most-needed food items?
Canned fish (tuna, salmon, sardines)
Canned fruit
Canned vegetables
Oatmeal
Canned tomatoes (whole, diced, crushed)
Nut butters (peanut, almond, etc)
We kindly ask for your generous donation to support our community.
Kind regards,
